September 12, 2023, altered the lives of a family, a community, and a generation with the passing of our beloved Vernon “VJ” Gordon, Jr. His smile was contagious and inspired others to strive for greatness. VJ had an unremarkable passion to love, learn, and lead. He believed in GOD, cherished his family, and respected friendship. His life will spark change and compassion for years to come.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Greater Refuge Temple Ministries, 1005 NW Central Ave. Amite, LA 70422 at 10:00Am. Visitation will begin for 8:00am. Internment at Gordon Family Cemetery, 10390 LA-1045, Amite City, LA 70422.
